Over the last two weeks, I’ve been engaged either directly or with staff for U.S. Representative Mikie Sherrill, U.S. Representative Donald Payne, State Senator Dick Codey, State Assemblyman John McKeon as well as in direct touch with DeCamp and NJ Transit. This week I signed onto Mikie’s letter to Kevin Corbett, President of NJ Transit. My gut tells me that NJ Transit needs to hear from affected citizens directly and that will help provide the air cover for the advocacy that me and your other elected officials are doing on your behalf.
I also know that our County Executive, Joe DiVincenzo, is working on a potential plan to help affected communities bridge any service gaps. If you have additional time beyond my primary ask of you below, please take a moment to send him a note of thanks by emailing him here.
