These times of crises also serve to expose the fractures and weaknesses within our leadership, the catastrophic consequences of their failures, and the separate and stand-alone crisis of widespread fear, uncertainty and panic that results when we do not trust our leadership.

Today LGBTQ Victory Fund endorsed 18 more openly LGBTQ candidates for 2020 races. Among the endorsees is Marko Liias, running for Lieutenant Governor of Washington, who was made a Game Changer* candidate and would be the first openly LGBTQ statewide executive elected in Washington.

Today was the last day for filing petitions to be on the ballot for Montclair Municipal elections in May.
Two slates will vie for mayor and council in this year’s local election set for May 12, while an independent will run for one of the two at-large council spots. Today, March 9, was the deadline for all candidates to have filed a petition with the clerk in order to run for office.
